Processionals is a series of video works produced in the context of public demonstrations and collective gatherings—Pride marches, political protests, vegan activism, and related forms of civic assembly. Filmed from within the flow of the marches themselves, the works foreground the density, heterogeneity, and affective charge of bodies moving together through urban space.

Rather than privileging moments of spectacle, the project attends to the slow accumulation of gestures, faces, costumes, pauses, and rhythms that emerge as participants advance through the street. The camera functions less as a documentarian tool than as an embodied witness, the series reveals the procession as a temporary social form.

Processionals emphasizes the remarkable variety of human presence—across age, gender expression, ideology, attire, and physical bearing—held together by the shared act of moving forward under conditions of strain, surveillance, and uncertainty
